From the ManufacturerIn February 1943, the Navy requested Grumman to investigate ways to increase the power of the Avenger. In response Grumman undertook a design study of an improved Avenger with a 2000 hp Pratt and Whitney R-2800 engine and a Martin 250CE turret. This plastic model kit is an accurate representation of the military vehicle.
