"Trolleys of Pittsburgh" takes a look at Pittsburgh's P.C.C, operations prior to the new "Lite Rail" system completed early in the 1980's. Cars displaying a variety of paint schemes are seen at many locations including the Clearview Loop, Broadway, Palm Gardens, Terrance, Washington Road, Dormant Junction, Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Dorchester, Washington Junction, Castle Shannon and more. The original film footage was shot by John N. Harder and Bill Folger with background music and narration added.

This program features non-stop trackside action at the Pittsburgh trolley system as it looked between 1961 and 1971 at locations including Mt. Lebanon, Beechview, South Mills Jct., Dormont, Shannon, Wood St. at 7th Ave., Mt. Washington Jct., Smithfield & Water Sts., Carrick, Neelo Ave., Drake, Arlington, 5th Ave. and more.
