The United States Army fought in several locations in Europe and Africa. It first met the Axis in ground combat in North Africa in 1942. Next the US Army engaged the Axis in Italy, then in Northern France in 1944. This set provides several US weapons used during this time, including the M1 Garand, the M1 Carbine, the Browning Automatic Rifle, and the Thompson Sub-machinegun.
