This is an AFV Club Models 1/350 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the US-built diesel-electric submarine (ex-USS Dace, SS-247) updated for Cold War service in the Marina Militare Italiana as Leonardo da Vinci (S-510). Model kit features: Kit has 2-piece hull split at the waterline, upper pressure hull, pivoting rudder, detailed diving planes, streamlined sail with open bridge, snorkel, fine deck fittings, 21" torpedoes and display stand with nameplate. Also features photo-etch railings and bow plane actuators. Completed model is approximately 10.7" long.
