DIE SOLOGHURN-NIEDERBIPP BAHN

Even if you have never seen anything from Europe before, or you think you do not like foreign rail vehicles, please read on. The Solothurn-Niederbipp Bahn could easily be the Lehigh Valley Transit. The program covers the Oberaargau-Jura Bahn as well, as they are operated jointly. Wonderful sounds emit from these electric cars with air brakes. They are painted traction orange and cream, and the line does what a good interurban does – runs down the street, goes off along the side of the road, crosses fields, and down narrow stretches between houses through the towns.
