This program begins with a look at the Reading Railroad between Reading and Norristown, PA in scenes filmed in 1945 and the last day of operation, July 15, 1955 for the "Mule Train" on the Perkiomen Branch between Emmaus Jct. and Perkiomen Jct. with onboard and trackside views. Then towerman Charles Bealer provides us with views from Catasaqua, Union Street and East Penn Towers showing activities of the Lehigh Valley, Reading, Lehigh & New England and Central Railroad of New Jersey.
