France Jeanne d'Arc helicopter carrier was formerly known as Resolution. Construction on the ship started 7 July 1960, she was launched September 30, 1961, and decommissioned September 1, 2010.

Jeanne d'Arc was widely used, usually used as a training ship. It can be used as amphibious assault ship, helicopter carrier or troop transport ship with minor modifications. When making troop transports the ship can carry a 700-man battalion and their landing equipment.
The ship junction 182 meters long, 24 meters wide, draft of 7.3 meters; gear power unit 2 turbine axis, 40,000 horsepower; maximum speed of 26.5. The ship helicopter platform can load 8 helicopters. The ship late armament systems installed featured four 100 mm guns, six "flying fish" MM38 ship missile launchers. In 2000 Jeanne d’Arc was modernized and the aft 100 mm anti-aircraft artillery was removed.
